The Cazcanes Tequila draws its inspiration from the Caxcan people, who were the final indigenous group in Mexico to be conquered by the Spanish. This tequila is rooted in an ancient indigenous recipe discovered in a moonshine still. It is created using water from underground springs beneath Cazcanes' land and carefully selected blue Weber agaves that thrive in volcanic soil. The agave hearts (piñas) undergo cooking and crushing, followed by fermentation with naturally occurring yeast. The resulting juice is distilled using alembic stills.
