All of Cantera Negra's tequila is small-batch, and won either a gold, silver, or bronze medal at the 2017 San Francisco World Spirits competition. Founded over 40 years ago, it was first brought to the US in 2015.

The Anejo is aged for 30-36 months, and it's warm and smooth with a long finish, subtle citrus and earth notes, and a hint of woody vanilla.
