1975 Darroze "Domaine De La Poste" Bas-Armagnac (Armagnac, FR)

A remarkable 44-year maturation in oak characterizes this Armagnac-Ténarèze, crafted entirely from Ugni blanc grapes. Its appearance boasts a yellow hue adorned with glistening golden highlights. The aroma is exceptionally refined, embodying the classic essence of Armagnac originating from the Tenareze region. Delicate and subtle notes of vanilla, linden, pear, and dried fruits grace the olfactory senses. This same finesse is mirrored on the palate, courtesy of its velvety and tender tannins. The bouquet culminates with the lingering presence of dry fruit undertones, featuring almonds and walnuts.
