    About The Varietal

    Glera

    Glera is an Italian white grape variety, likely originating from the village of Prosecco. Previously known as Prosecco, the name was changed to "Glera" in the EU in 2009 to protect "Prosecco" as a geographically-protected designation for the Italian wine.
