NV Opera2 Lambrusco di Modena D.O.P. Brut (Emilia Romagna, IT)

This Lambrusco Grasparossa and Lambrusco Salamino from Lambrusco di Modena in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, undergoes 4-5 days of maceration before a six-month low-temperature fermentation in steel. The result is a medium-bodied, dry, and bubbly wine with deep dark fruit and earthy flavors, tart blackberry skin, medium acidity, and inky tannins. Hints of bark and umami add to its complexity.
