Max Rosenstock, Niki Nakazawa, and Yuskei Murayama are the founding partners of NETA, each bringing a unique background and passion for agave spirits. Max, born and raised in northern New Mexico, developed his connection to agave during time spent in the small villages of Miahuatlán in 2012, where friendships formed over shared meals and mezcal eventually led him to settle in Oaxaca. Niki, the daughter of a Uruguayan mother and a Japanese-American father, has lived between the U.S. and Latin America. Since moving to Mexico in 2007, she has worked across various creative fields, co-founding an experimental pop-up restaurant and consulting on beverage offerings for high-profile events like Noma’s Tulum pop-up. Yuskei, with a mixed Japanese, Swedish, and American heritage, brings a wealth of leadership experience from scaling a luxury brand and excels at balancing long-term strategy with detailed execution, driving the team's vision forward. Together, they combine their diverse experiences to shape NETA and its place in the world of agave spirits.
