*7W* 2022 Land of Saints Chardonnay (Santa Barbara County, CA)

Everyone at Land of Saints is obsessed with the beautiful land their grapes are grown on, and their goal is to create wines that encapsulate a true sense of place. This 2018 chardonnay is no exception, utilizing native yeasts in fermentation and battonage to give the wine an enhanced texture and minerality. Lemon curd, baking spice, and vanilla on the palate, this wine has just the right amount of heft to make it both food friendly and an easy solo sipper.

    About The Varietal

    Chardonnay

Chardonnay, possibly the most famous among white grape varieties, is frequently regarded as reaching its peak expression in its Burgundian birthplace. However, this grape has journeyed across the globe, and Chardonnay wines, ranging from outstanding to less inspiring, can now be discovered in various wine-producing regions worldwide.

    About The Producer

    Land of Saints

In a collaboration involving Angela and Jason Osborne from A Tribute to Grace Wine Company and Manuel Cuevas from C2 Cellars, they first encountered each other during the 2013 vintage. Since then, discussions about sunshine, moon signs, and their diverse Kiwi/Cornish/Mexican-American backgrounds have persisted. Hailing from three distinct corners of the world, they are brought together by their shared affection for California and the diverse wine expressions found in Santa Barbara County.
