Y3 comes from the symbol used on the winemakers’ grandparents’ cattle ranch, representing 3 generations of farming. At Jax, the winemakers believe in restrained farming and winemaking practices, so the grapes are sustainably farmed, hand harvested, and fermented with native yeasts. A classic expression of California Cabernet with aromas and flavors of blackberries, black currants, spice, with notes of forest floor, cacao nibs, and cedar rounding out the palate.
