2023 Antiquum Farm "Alium" Pinot Gris (Willamette Valley, OR) 4W

The Pinot Gris for Antiquum's "Alium" is always the last to be harvested, so the grape skins have ample time to develop depth and texture. Forty days of skin maceration with these matured grape skins results in tropical notes intermingling with an herbaceous, savory character and a texture on your palate that lasts for every sip.

    About The Varietal

    Pinot Gris

Pinot Gris, also known as Pinot Grigio, is a pinkish grape mutation originating from Pinot Noir. Renowned for its zesty white wines, it also lends itself to crafting fuller-bodied whites and rosé. Northern Italy, Alsace, Oregon, and Germany stand out as regions offering benchmark examples of this versatile grape.
