2022 Kumusha Single Vineyard "Sondagskloof" Sauvignon Blanc (Western Cape, SA) 4W

This clean, fresh and complex Sauvignon Blanc is made by one of UG's favorite winemakers, Tinashe Nyamudoka. Widely recognized as one of South Africa's top wine professionals, this Zimbabwe native is making waves with his world-class wines in the Western Cape.

    About The Varietal

    Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc is a white-wine grape originating from western France, and it has achieved success in both emerging and established wine regions globally. This grape variety is known for producing lightly colored, aromatic, and dry white wines with a refreshing acidity.

    About The Producer

    Kumusha

Originally from Zimbabwe, Kumusha founder Tinashe Nyumudoka moved to South Africa where he began his journey in the wine industry. From waiter to head sommelier of Africa's highest acclaimed restaurant, The Test Kitchen, Nyumudoka decided to try his own hand at winemaking in 2017 when he first launched Kumusha with help of friend Attie Louw, a windemaker from the Opstal family estate in Slanghoek valley. From our first sip of Kumusha Sauvignon Blanc, we fell in love and instantly knew these would become staple bottles on our shelves.
