Anna Espelt has been working with her family wine estate for years but most recently started her own label focused on vineyards within the Cap de Creus Nature Reserve of Spain. Anna states that "is is a land of granite, wine, blue skies, and the smell of wild herbs and sea spray," and has found these varietals thrive closer to the coast, where the winds keep the berries small and skins thick, leading to the preservation of natural acidity.
