2022 Brick and Mortar Anderson Valley Chardonnay (Mendocino, CA) 5W

This Anderson Valley Chardonnay is a Cali wine for a French drinker! Notes of lemon zest and crushed shells lead to notes of ripe melon and flint. The palate is bright and sharp with racy acidity, citrus and expressive minerality.

    About The Varietal

    Chardonnay

Chardonnay, possibly the most famous among white grape varieties, is frequently regarded as reaching its peak expression in its Burgundian birthplace. However, this grape has journeyed across the globe, and Chardonnay wines, ranging from outstanding to less inspiring, can now be discovered in various wine-producing regions worldwide.

    About The Producer

    Brick & Mortar

Alexis and Matt Iaconis founded Brick & Mortar in 2011 after being led into their winemaking journey by their shared love of drinking Vintage Champagne and White Burgundy. Alexis began working in restaurants at age 15 before attending art school in Boston before culinary school at the CIA led her into the world of winemaking in Napa. While being deeply rooted in California, their wines are driven by classic French tradition and taste. Their approach to farming and winemaking is down to earth, yet high performing, as they have adopted minimal intervention practices and donate to 1% for the Planet.
