Do not be fooled by the grapes in this wine– it may look like a Super Tuscan. However unlike the bold, oaked, bombastic wines of that style, this wine draws from the more classic stylings of Chianti Classico, focusing on varietal purity, with deep botanical aromas from the Cab Franc, and lush fruit from the Merlot. Neutral oak and lighter bodied, but with muscular tannins, you’ll definitely do well to have this with a burger!
