2021 Peay Vineyards West Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (Sonoma Coast, CA) 8W

Husband and wife team, Nick Peay and Vanessa Wong started their winery from scratch in 1996 in the remote, cool northern Sonoma Coast, just 4 miles from the Pacific. The West Sonoma Coast Chardonnay strikes a beautiful balance of perfectly ripe fruit and cool climate freshness, with notes of apple, apricot, lemon and a kiss of oak. An elegant example of “new California” Chardonnay.

    About The Varietal

    Chardonnay

Chardonnay, possibly the most famous among white grape varieties, is frequently regarded as reaching its peak expression in its Burgundian birthplace. However, this grape has journeyed across the globe, and Chardonnay wines, ranging from outstanding to less inspiring, can now be discovered in various wine-producing regions worldwide.
