2021 Knights Bridge "KB" Chardonnay (Knights Valley, Sonoma County, CA) 10W

This vintage is a pleasant revelation, showcasing vibrant aromas of lemon, white peach, and kumquat. Subtle hints of 10% new French oak lend elegance without overpowering its lively character. The palate bursts with freshness and energy, blending intricate citrus flavors, buttery croissants, and fragrant white flowers. A crisp, mineral finish reminiscent of a fresh sea breeze invites you to take another sip.

    About The Varietal

    Chardonnay

Chardonnay, possibly the most famous among white grape varieties, is frequently regarded as reaching its peak expression in its Burgundian birthplace. However, this grape has journeyed across the globe, and Chardonnay wines, ranging from outstanding to less inspiring, can now be discovered in various wine-producing regions worldwide.

    About The Producer

    Knights Bridge

Knights Bridge vineyard is nestled on the pristine west side of Knights Valley, the warmest appellation in Sonoma County. It was here that the family decided to create Knights Bridge Winery with the singular goal of producing world-class wines. Winemaker, Derek Baljeu, joined the Knights Bridge team in 2019 and was promoted to winemaker in 2021. “Regardless of region or variety, [Derek thinks] balance and complexity are the most important factors in a great wine. It is the interplay of the acidity, weight, finish, aroma, and flavor that create harmony and complexity that always has you wanting more.”
