2021 Helioterra Pinot Blanc (Willamette Valley, OR) 3W

Exploding with flavors of persimmon, guava, coconut, and mandarin orange zest, this medium-bodied white is fresh, flavorful, and extremely food-friendly.

    About The Varietal

    Pinot Blanc

Pinot Blanc, a versatile white-wine grape, lends itself to the creation of still, sparkling, and sweet dessert wines. Displaying its adaptability, this grape journey spans from crafting delicate white wines in Italy and Alsace to yielding luxurious Trockenbeerenauslese in Austria and contributing to the production of ice wine in Canada.

    About The Producer

    Helioterra

Growing up in Wisconsin, winemaker Anne Hubatch was always out with nature or in the kitchen with her grandmother. Earning a degree in Geology and Environmental studies led her to Oregon, where she gained hands-on exposure and decade-long winemaking training with some of Oregon’s best winemakers at Hamacher Wines, Adelsheim Vineyard, and Dobbes Family Estate. Inspired by the energy of Oregon’s wine industry, Anne launched her inaugural solo vintage in 2009, marking the beginning of Helioterra Wines. Over the past decade, she has built strong connections with exceptional grape growers across the Pacific Northwest, producing wines that celebrate both the fruit and the growers while embracing various wine styles and types.
