2020 Morlet "Ma Princesse" Chardonnay (Sonoma, CA) 7W

Presenting a straw-yellow hue, this wine offers a delightful bouquet featuring notes of lemon drop, crisp Reinette apple skin, and hints of fresh chamomile herbs. With a full-bodied and concentrated profile, it envelops the palate in a creamy, rich texture that lingers extensively. Crafted for graceful aging over a decade, the wine's true character emerges after a careful 6-month to one-year cellaring period, promising an even more rewarding experience over time.

    About The Varietal

    Chardonnay

Chardonnay, possibly the most famous among white grape varieties, is frequently regarded as reaching its peak expression in its Burgundian birthplace. However, this grape has journeyed across the globe, and Chardonnay wines, ranging from outstanding to less inspiring, can now be discovered in various wine-producing regions worldwide.

    About The Producer

    Morlet

Luc Morlet represents the fifth generation of a French winemaking family who left France in 1996 to join his wife Jodie in California. With the Morlet wine label, the couple utilizes the old-world principles of Luc’s home in France in St. Helena, California. Morlet’s wines are consistently some of our favorites, showing harmony in their intensity, richness, and complexity.
