About The Varietal
A red Bordeaux blend primarily consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, supplemented by smaller amounts of Malbec and Petit Verdot, with Carmenere occasionally included. While the term naturally applies to red wines from Bordeaux, it is also suitable for wines produced beyond the region, such as those from California, Washington, Argentina, and other locations.

About The Producer
Petrie and Jaco, both hailing from South Africa, attended Stellenbosch University in the heart of the Western Cape winelands. Although their educational paths could have led to an early meeting, they only crossed paths two decades later, with Petrie living in San Francisco and Jaco in London, pursuing careers in accounting and embryology, respectively. Fate brought them together virtually, and after over a year of trying to meet, they finally connected in New York. They often discussed second careers and their shared "farm boy upbringing," fostering a mutual interest in purchasing land in southern France. In February 2022, they discovered their beautiful estate and embarked on their new venture: crafting delicious wines!
