A young dry red wine, made from a selection of grape varieties from the estate’s vineyards in a way that results in a lighter-bodied, smoother, fresher, and livelier version of the renowned Can Feixes red wines. On the slopes of the mountains that separate the comarcas of Penedès and Anoia, in the extreme north-west of Alt Penedes on the high lands of Cabrera and Mediona, the Can Feixes estate goes quietly about its business of respect for tradition and terroir.
About The Varietal
Tempranillo serves as the backbone for some of the finest Spanish wines, and it is a red grape variety cultivated extensively in both Spain and Portugal. In general, Tempranillo yields red wines characterized by red fruit and leather aromas, high tannins, moderate to low acidity, and moderate alcohol levels.
