2019 Domaine Raimbault "Vieilles Vignes" Sancerre (Loire Valley, FR) 3W

Crafted from old-vine Sauvignon Blanc, Domaine Raimbault’s Vieilles Vignes encapsulates the essence of the renowned appellation of Sancerre. The aromatics can only be described as delightful, showcasing a bouquet of white peach, citrus blossoms, and a subtle flintiness. The palate goes on to impress with vibrant acidity harmonizing with flavors of ripe pear, green apple and a hint of herbs. Although a fairly young wine, the old-vines that produce this fruit lend a depth and complexity to this Sancerre, making it more intriguing than many others we have had recently! Grab a bottle and save it to pair with a great home cooked meal and best friends.
