2018 Knights Bridge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon (Knights Valley, CA) 8R

This Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic representation of the variety, showcasing vibrant aromas of cassis, damson plum, and cedar, complemented by hints of baking spices and violets. It starts with a soft, generous mouthfeel filled with rich dark fruits yet retains a lively tension and energy. This ripe, bold, and assertive Cabernet reflects the quality of its vintage and the distinct character of its Knights Valley terroir.

    About The Varietal

    Cabernet Sauvignon

Frequently linked with Bordeaux wine blends and Napa Valley, Cabernet Sauvignon is a grape variety that has achieved global popularity. This is largely attributed to its coveted blend of black fruit scents, firm tannins, and vibrant acidity.

    About The Producer

    Knights Bridge

Knights Bridge vineyard is nestled on the pristine west side of Knights Valley, the warmest appellation in Sonoma County. It was here that the family decided to create Knights Bridge Winery with the singular goal of producing world-class wines. Winemaker, Derek Baljeu, joined the Knights Bridge team in 2019 and was promoted to winemaker in 2021. “Regardless of region or variety, [Derek thinks] balance and complexity are the most important factors in a great wine. It is the interplay of the acidity, weight, finish, aroma, and flavor that create harmony and complexity that always has you wanting more.”
