2022 Raica Colli di Limbara Bianco "Aranzu" (Sardinia, IT) 3W

The Vermentino grapes used for "Aranzu" come from Cinzia Bocchino’s 46-year-old vines located just near the coastline. Derived from the Sardinian dialect, "Aranzu" means "Orange Wine," which references this bottle's beautiful ochre color from a two-week maceration process.

This wine exhibits ripe stone fruit, kumquat, and mineral qualities, complemented by subtle herbal undertones.

    About The Varietal

    Vermentino

Vermentino is a white wine grape cultivated in various locations around the western Mediterranean under different names such as Pigato, Favorita, and Rolle. Wines made from Vermentino and its aliases share common characteristics, most notably refreshing acidity and attractive aromas of peach, lemon peel, dried herbs, and a hint of saline minerality.
