2022 Las Jaras "Glou Glou" Red (Mendocino, CA) 2R

Glou Glou serves as the lodestar of winemaking endeavors at Las Jaras because it epitomizes a friendly ease. The 2022 edition of this favorite light red is juicy, delicious, and ultra-expressive. This vintage provided a Zinfandel crop with large, juicy berries, allowing the creation of a bistro-friendly red with an emphasis on freshness. Serve it slightly chilled, and you will be the hero of your next backyard barbecue; this is an incredibly unfussy, refreshing red wine and a tonic to long summer days and the heat of the grill.

    About The Varietal

    Carignan

Carignan is a grape variety with dark skin, believed to have originated in Aragon. This grape is prevalent in wines produced along the Mediterranean coast, particularly in northeastern Spain and the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. It is frequently used for blending with other significant regional grape varieties, including Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre.
