2021 Domaine de l'Arpette "Blanc Bec" (Gaillac, FR) 6W

"This wine offers a delightful bouquet of ripe peach and refreshing honeydew melon, accompanied by a zesty citrus zest that adds a vibrant touch. As you savor each sip, you'll also notice a subtle hint of sweet marjoram, which lends an intriguing herbal complexity to the wine. To top it off, there's a delicate undercurrent of saltiness that enhances the overall experience. This Soave is a testament to its dry and light-bodied character, making it a perfect choice for those seeking an elegant and crisp white wine."

    About The Varietal

    Mauzac

Mauzac is a traditional white grape variety found throughout South West France. While it has been largely supplanted by fashionable Chardonnay, it is used to make still and sparkling wines in the Limoux and Gaillac appellations. Wines made from Mauzac grapes tend to have honeyed, green apple characters, and the variety appears on its own or as part of a blend.
