2020 Trois Noix Chardonnay (Napa Valley, CA) 6W

This Chardonnay offers delicate notes of white peach, green apple, and jasmine. We chose to forego any malolactic fermentation to maintain the fruit’s freshness and purity of expression, resulting in a wine with a medium body, crisp acidity, and minerality. The racy acidity and medium body make it a perfect pairing with pan-seared wild Alaska salmon, creamy lobster risotto or moules frites.

    About The Varietal

    Chardonnay

Chardonnay, possibly the most famous among white grape varieties, is frequently regarded as reaching its peak expression in its Burgundian birthplace. However, this grape has journeyed across the globe, and Chardonnay wines, ranging from outstanding to less inspiring, can now be discovered in various wine-producing regions worldwide.

    About The Producer

    Trois Noix

Winemaker, Jamie Araujo's, family has been making world-class wines in Napa Valley for over 25 years. Despite spending a significant portion of those years residing in Europe, Jaime returned to Napa Valley with the aspiration of crafting a wine that mirrors her personal experiences and captures what she values most in wine: the connections with people and the sense of community. The name "Trois Noix," translating to "Three Nuts," pays tribute to our founder's affection for France and her dedication to utilizing wine as a force for positive social impact.
