2020 La Osa "Trasto" Blanco (Tierra de Leon, SP) 3W

Old becomes new again in this ripe, stony bottle of the rare Albarin grape. Structured and fresh, fruity notes come forth on the nose followed by ripe white fruit and stone fruit on the palate.

    About The Varietal

    Albarino

This green-skinned grape variety originates from Galicia, situated on the northern Atlantic coast of Spain. It is most famous for being the primary grape variety in the Rias Baixas DO, where it is used to craft fresh, and often, texturally rich white wines featuring notes of peach, citrus, and minerals, making them an ideal accompaniment to the region's seafood.
