Brothers Johann and Paul Krige are the fourth generation in their family to run Kanonkop Estate located on the lower slopes of Simonsberg Mountain in South Africa. Here they source fruit from 63 year old Pinotage vines, producing a wine that is concentrated and elegant with notes of red plums, chocolate, and baking spices.

Pinotage stands as South Africa's signature grape variety, cultivated almost exclusively in the region. Its versatile character allows for the production of a spectrum of wines, ranging from basic table wines to opulent, concentrated offerings boasting flavors of black and red fruits, spice, leather, and chocolate.
