The Alexana Winery itself is a passion project of Dr. Madaiah Revana and his love of classic Burgundian wine. In 2005 Dr. Revana sought out what he believed to be the perfect region to reproduce understated wines reminiscent of Burgundy, and landed on the Dundee Hills AVA, situated within Oregon’s Willamette Valley. The unique climate and soil here were just what he needed to produce high caliber, New World wines reminiscent of Old World style.

Only 3 acres of Riesling vines are grown along the southern edge of the Revana vineyards. The particularly cool micro-climate found in this parcel of land are ideal for producing a crisp, dry Riesling like nothing else you will find in Oregon. With bright fruit flavors and a vibrant acidity, the Alexana Riesling makes a perfect pairing with a wide variety of meals
