Join us as we host Umberto Valle, owner and winemaker of Tuscan winery Poggio Trevvalle!
Between the towns of Grosseto and Campagnatico lies Poggio Trevvalle on a small hill in the seaside town of Maremma, Tuscany. The Poggio Trevvalle estate covers 17 hectares, of which 14 are vineyards. Over 85% of the vines are Sangiovese. The remaining vines are Alicante, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The Valle brothers bought the farm in 1998 and chose to cultivate their vines organically in order to produce wines that truly express their terroir. Umberto Valle strongly believes that the taste and flavor of a wine will be unique if the grapes represent the countryside’s soil and microclimate. These affordable, estate wines are pleasing to drink at any occasion and, most importantly have a recognizable taste and flavor.
Umberto will be showing: 2013 "Passera" Morellino di Scansano, 2013 Morellino di Scansano, 2013 Wine Cube Rosso Toscana (3 Liters) *It's equal to 4 bottles of wine!
