As always our regularly scheduled tastings are held on Thursday and Fridays from 5-8, and on Saturdays from 2-5. “UGSe” designates that the tasting is held at our South End store (“UGCH” denotes our former Chestnut Hill location).

This month, join Yoko as she features sparkling wines made with atypical grapes and from unusual places! Alongside Yoko, Gianne from Organic Bath Co. will be selling her amazing body butters, oils and scrubs. Their pledge is to provide you with ingredients you can feel good about using. They'll care for it, and the planet, with healthy, organic and Fair Trade Certified-ingredients that will lift your spirits and soften your rough patches.
UG staff member and chalkboard artist extraordinaire, Nathalie, spotlights her favorite French wines du jour! Alongside Nathalie, Michelle from Uncommon Feasts will serve up some tastes from her small catering business where families/couples can order weekly dinners that enable them to gather together after a busy day and enjoy time together. Her main focus is on creating locally grown, seasonally balanced menus.
Bully Boy Distillers announces the launch of The Old Fashioned, a new take on the classic cocktail. As longtime fans of the iconic libation, the Willis brothers behind Bully Boy have applied their craft spirit artistry and love of whiskey to what they respectfully consider to be the best Old Fashioned recipe—not too sweet, not too dry and with enough bitters to create perfect harmony in a glass—available now as a seasonal release. To celebrate the launch of The Old Fashioned, Bully Boy will offer an exclusive first taste of the new spirit at UG! If you haven't started stocking up for the winter months, now is your chance!
The idea behind Glendalough Distillery is to make innovative spirits while staying true to the tradition and heritage of their Irish ancestors. Join Donal, as he samples and educates about Glendalough's line of craft Poitins, (Irish Moonshine) and aged whiskies!

Red Apple Farm will also be partnering with UG for the afternoon to sample and sell their freshly made cider donuts! Join the staff of The South End's David’s Tea as they feature tea-infused macarons with Jen from Miam Miam Macaronerie! These amazing macarons will be paired alongside five seasonal UG wines! Founder and CKO (Chief Knitting Officer) of Boston-based Shit That I Knit, Christina, will also be partnering up with Urban Grape to show and sell her stunning knitwear. Each piece in their collection is of the highest quality and is knit with hand-dyed Peruvian merino wool, alpaca, or cashmere.
Corey Bunnewith, Co-founder and Proprietor of Boston Harbor Distillery, joins The Urban Grape to showcase the Spirit of Boston among some of their other innovative spirits. "Spirit of Boston" is a 3 part series in which Boston Harbor Distillery utilizes 3 distinctive finished beers from Sam Adams Brewery to produce one-of-a-kind whiskey-like products. Their first series of products for 2015 features "New World" Belgian Tripel, 13th Hour Stout and the Merrymaker Stout. Inspired by their treasured connection with Boston Beer Company, the Spirit of Boston is a true expression of what unique beers, when distilled and aged, can be turned into.

For International Stout Day, we'll be featuring a line-up of our favorite stouts as well as some delicious treats from Kristen at Honeycomb Creamery! Kristen will be sampling and selling her coffee granita topped with cinnamon whipped cream. Yum!
