Our regularly scheduled tastings are held on Thursday and Fridays from 5-8, and on Saturdays from 3-6.
4.29.17 Pony Shack Cider! 3-6PM
Founder, Nate McKinley handpicks apples from local orchards to make Pony Shack Cider, an all-natural hard cider produced by McKinley in his Boxborough home’s garage-turned-cidery. Nate will be tasting creative ciders such as Orchard Blues, Barrel Me Over, and The Manhattan. Urban Grape is the ONLY BOSTON SHOP to carry Pony Shack so trot on down and stock up!
5.4.17 California Brewery Takeover and Sweetgreen Popup! 5-8PM
It’s California Love with some of the Sunshine State’s OGs of craft beer: Green Flash, The Bruery and Lagunitas. Sean from Green Flash and Jesse from Craft Brewer’s Guild will be keeping it light and fresh, taking you on a ride along of sours, pale ales and West Coast IPA’s because in the words of 2Pac himself – ‘California knows how to party’!
5.5.17 South American Winemakers: Casa Silva & Tikal! 5-8PM
Join us for this very special tasting of wines “South of the Border” from Chile’s Casa Silva and Argentina’s Tikal winery. Felipe from Casa Silva will be featuring Bordeaux’s lost varietals, Sauvignon Gris and Carmenere alongside Tikal’s Alejandro who will be featuring bold, Malbec-based blends. This is a rare opportunity to get an in depth education about South American wines from the experts themselves!
5.6.17 Sampler Saturday! A Rosé Soirée! 3-6PM
This May it’s a Rosé Soirée, and just in time for Mother’s Day! With the rising temperatures and blue skies ahead, the spring flowers are coming into full bloom in tandem with our burgeoning rosé selection! The country that comes immediately to the fore to boast a multi-hued range of pink wine would be none other than France! From the Languedoc to the Loire, this colorful assortment is sure to offer a little something for all of your spring-time affairs! 5.11.17 Down the Road Brewing and MISE! 5-8PM
Get ready for a Thursday night two-for!
We are thrilled to be hosting Marc from Down the Road Brewing, a favorite local hub for craft beer out of Newton, MA (new tasting room coming soon!). Marc will be pouring some favorites, including the Seventh Star IPA and Cherry Feyborne Berliner Weisse; as well as rolling out some fresh new DTR brews!
We’re also welcoming back Michael from MISE Imports, who will take us through an exciting collection of natural and organic wines new to UG!
5.12.17 South End Stroll with Freemark Abbey and Ser Verde! 5-8PM

Finally, were are pleased to welcome back Boston’s very own Amy Lambroukos-Silva of Ser Verde Shoes who will be sharing her Espadrilles and sandals, handmade exclusively in Spain
