On January 27, 2011, The Capital Grille and The Urban Grape are thrilled to present the first in our 2011 Wine Maker Dinner Series, featuring winemaker Augustin Hunneus. The evening will consist of a cocktail hour to welcome our guests, followed by a four course meal paired with wines from the Hunneus’ family vineyards, including Quintessa, Faust, Illumination and Ritual. The Capital Grille’s chef Hugues Boucher will create a special menu of unique creations that pair perfectly with the featured wines.

In the world of winemaking, the Hunneus family is one of the most well-respected. As owner and consulting winemaker, Augustin works closely with some of the most famous winemakers in the world to create special and unique bottles from his impeccably managed vineyards. It is Augustin who has truly put Quintessa and the family’s other labels on the map. Charming, funny and accessible, an evening with Augustin is a rare treat.
